Nantwich Food & Drink Festival 2010 (Sept 24-26)

Be sure to visit one of the nation's favourite Food Festivals - in one of its most attractive and historic Market Towns. Spring 2010:

In early Spring VisitCheshire launched Taste Nantwich Food & Drink Walks - 2 walks introducing the speciality food and drink outlets in and around Nantwich town centre. The leaflet is available for download here, or pick it up at Nantwich TIC in the Civic Hall.

Summer 2009:

Did you know about Nantwich's weekly Country Market? It's a co-operative social enterprise selling a range of home-made and home-grown produce from individual producers (including fresh fruit and veg from the local allotments). A great source for an unusual hamper too. Find it in the Market Hall every Thursday from 8am - 1pm.

Spring 2009:

UPDATE: Nantwich is now working towards achieving Fairtrade Town status in 2009. Food and drink outlets serving/selling Fairtrade products are being identified - see on this web site. Nantwich Town Council has issued a resolution in support of Fairtrade. Businesses are being persuaded to use Fairtrade products. The Chairman of the Steering Group is Chris Challoner. Says Chris: "Choose products with the FAIRTRADE Mark"
