  • Last Saturday of every month*

Our famous farmers' market features 25 stalls purveying fine foods including ostrich, buffalo, wild-boar, sausages, dry cured bacon, lamb, beef, cheese, eggs, fruit and vegetables, home baking, bottle conditioned beers, English wines, fudge, fruit vinegars and much, much more. It has a huge following amongst gourmet food lovers and attracts around 3,500 visitors each month. Ours was one of the first farmers' markets in the region and, with its picturesque setting in the heart of Nantwich's Conservation Area, it continues to prosper and grow.

*Except December when the market is on the weekend before Christmas. Call 01270 537359 for more details.

Nantwich Food and Drink Festival

Billed as ‘Britain’s Tastiest Festival’, Nantwich Food and Drink Festival is the largest of its kind with over 2,000 products to taste during the three day event. The Festival features more than 250 artisan food producers and is an opportunity to sample the best regionally produced gourmet food against the backdrop of our attractive half-timbered market town. Our Festival will inspire food lovers to experiment with succulent, fresh, wholesome produce to create great tasting dishes and savour the flavours of locally produced brews.

The line up of events at the Festival is always impressive.  Favourites such as the Gourmet Food Fair, Farmers’ Market and the CAMRA Beer Festival always take centre stage. Dabbers Specials are served up at most of Nantwich’s restaurants, cafés and bars and there are several highly popular Cookery Theatres where celebrity chefs perform.
